Disclosure
How we label paid placement
When a practice pays for Featured placement, every listing it appears in carries a Featured label with the words paid placement beneath it, and that label links to our terms. That practice also sorts above unpaid listings in its city.
Paying does not change a credential status, does not change how many people reach you, and does not remove or downrank anyone else. Those are the three things a patient could assume money buys on a listing site, so we say plainly that it does not.
Verification is free for every surgeon, sourced from public board data, and shown with source and date on every profile whether or not anyone pays us.
Every procedure page prints this above its list of practices: “Practices appear here when public business records place them in this area and the practice's own site names this procedure. Surgeons with the BeautyVetted badge sort first, then other claimed practices, newest claim first, then verified surgeons, then by area and name. Claiming is free. Featured practices pay for a labelled spot above the list. Every other practice is sorted the same way, free.” The full criteria are on how we build this list.

Questions
What practices ask
- Does paying change how many patients reach you?
- No. Every visitor picks the practices they want to see and goes straight to your own website or phone number, and payment never touches that. A Featured practice and an unclaimed practice are treated the same.
- Does paying make me verified?
- No. Verification is a check against public board data. It is free for every surgeon and never for sale. Nothing here changes a credential status.
- How many practices can be Featured in my city?
- Three. While you hold one of the three spots, at most two other practices in your city hold the others. That is a limit on how much placement we sell, not exclusivity or a protected territory: every practice in your city stays listed, verification stays free, and every practice gets the same direct-contact buttons regardless of payment.
- Is placement labelled?
- Yes, always. Featured practices are marked as paid placement everywhere they appear, and that label opens our terms. We would rather a patient know exactly what they are looking at.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Your listing stays exactly as it was before you paid, including your BeautyVetted badge if your surgeon has one, and patients keep reaching you directly, the same as before. Featured is month to month, and you cancel it from your dashboard.
- Why is Featured sold only in some metros?
- Featured is sold in metros where our own analytics show enough search traffic to make placement worth paying for. Any practice in an eligible metro may buy it while one of the city's three spots is open. Metro eligibility is a limit on us, not exclusivity for anyone.
- Does Plus change where I appear?
- No. Plus is tools and presentation. Claimed practices come first, then verified surgeons, both free, and nothing you pay changes that.
